KFRM BlogFood Safety A new study by the Center for Food Integrity shows that the American public is increasingly concerned about the safety of their food, Consumers are more concerned about food safety than the war in Iraq or global warming. Responses showed a significant drop in the number of people that are confident about the safety of the food they eat and most feel that the food supply was safer when they were growing up than it is today. Even though the study showed consumers still have a high amount of trust in farmers/producers when it comes to food safety, there is still alot that can be done to strengthen consumer trust. Jim
