Deedee joined the KCLY/KFRM staff in May of 2006.  She writes feature stories for KCLY along with news broadcasting for KFRM and operating the 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. shift on KFRM Radio.

Being a lifelong resident of Kansas, she grew up on a Smith County ranch where they raised cattle and registered Quarter Horses.  She was actively involved in 4-H, FFA, and the American Junior Quarter Horse Association.

Deedee has a background in Media working at Kansas State University as the Media/Community Traffic Safety Coordinator for the Kansas Safety Belt Office. 

She, also, has a PR and Marketing background assisting businesses and livestock purebred operations with their marketing.

Lee and Deedee live on a ranch by rural Linn and raise cattle and registered Quarter Horses.  Lee also works for the Department of Agriculture.  Their three children Lindy, Logan and Landon (all the same age) keep them busy running to wrestling tournaments, basketball and football games, and to their livestock

shows. Hm-m-m-m, bet you were wondering, but yes they are triplets!
