Joe joined the station staff in January of 2002, and is a native of El Paso, TX.

A 1997 graduate of Texas Tech, his prior work experience includes four years of military service and two years in television news in Lubbock. He also spent two and a half years in Levelland, TX, doing sales, news and sports for high school and junior college teams.

He enjoys getting the chance to meet interesting people during interviews and working with area high school coaches. He also tries to stay in shape as a runner.

Joe is still a devoted UTEP Miner fan, but also likes attending KSU sporting events.
