Phil Kasper joined the KCLY/KFRM staff in November of 2005. He was born and raised in Clay Center and attended Cloud County Community College and Kansas State University. He is a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, serving during Desert Shield/Storm.

 He has been a part of the “Gridiron Gang,” providing color commentary for Clay Center Tiger football since 2001, is the host of “Flip Thru the 70’s” & co-host of "The Vinyl Years" on KCLY. He also coaches youth football and baseball. He and his wife Jolie have two kids; Jace and Jalyn.

Phil has a large music collection with a special interest in vinyl. When he has spare time, you can find him on the golf course where he likes to spend his time losing to Rocky.
